Overview
Toll Lite is a Windows Browser based freight management system
that can be used online (connected to the Internet) or offline
(no Internet connection). Toll Lite is specifically designed
to assist customers in the presentation of their freight for
despatch with clear and accurate barcoded address labels.
In addition to eliminating the need to handwrite connotes
and maintain sender's copies from each consignment, Toll Lite
prepares a daily manifest of all consignments which is stored
for retrieval as required.
Toll Lite can also create an electronic file that can be
transmitted via the Internet to your respective business unit
at the completion of each day's despatch preparation. Electronic
transmission reduces the risk of lost connotes, improves the
accuracy of information sent through for billing/invoicing
and creates the first step in the Tracking process.

What’s New
Toll Lite was first introduced in 2001 and since then Toll
has received some excellent customer feedback for improvements
to the existing system. The latest Toll Lite version has a
number of new features developed from this feedback including:
- Ability to email an advanced notification to your receivers
- The installation process will now create a shortcut on
your desktop
- Labels can be printed in batches
- Page header will appear on all pages Service Type will
be printed on the manifest
- The manifest will display the Dangerous Goods Details
- After successful transmission, the Transmission Status
will change to True
- Third Party Payer option has been included
- Total Cubic value can now be calculated
- Returns can now be processed as a Return Order rather
than despatch manifest
- A search function for previous connotes has been added
- A Commodity Code field has been added
Existing customers can automatically receive the updated
version the first time you transmit a manifest over the Internet.
The system will automatically load the new version to your
computer. If you do not use the Internet, a new disk will
be sent to you. Call the Helpdesk on 1300 884 732 for further
upgrade details.

Minimum Specifications
In order to use Toll Lite the following specifications are
recommended:
- Pentium PC, 200Mhz or greater
- Access to a CD-ROM drive
- 10Mb disk space
- 32 Mb RAM (64 Mb recommended)
- Internet Explorer version 5.0 or greater
- One of the following operating systems: Windows 95, 98,
NT, 2000, Me, XP
- Print to a laser printer
- Internet connection, email (Optional)
- Access to a floppy disk drive (if no internet or email
available)
- Installation on the local drive (i.e. Not onto network
drive)
