Toll Transitions breaks new ground in relocations industry
Toll Holdings, Australia’s leading provider of integrated transportation and logistics services, has today launched the nation’s first total relocation management business – Toll Transitions. “By positioning the company as “total move managers”, Toll Transitions is creating a new category and breaking new ground internationally”, said Mr Little, Toll Holdings Managing Director. Toll Transitions will manage - tens of thousands of relocations next year, nationally and internationally. Services provided range from simple Removals Management of personal effects and furniture through to comprehensive executive services such as Homesearch, Schoolsearch, Visa and Migration services, departure planning, host city orientation, expatriate and repatriate management. The full service offered by Toll Transitions is supported by comprehensive, sophisticated account management, technology and HR support to its clients. Toll Transitions has been formed by bringing together the capabilities of Removals Australia, the largest purchaser of removals services for household and workplace relocations in Australia; International Corporate Relocations, a pioneering market leader specialising in assisting executives relocate to, from, or within Australia; and movinghome.com.au, a web-based relocation portal with a technology expertise to support and e-enable the business. As part of the business integration, Toll is also pleased to announce its decision to acquire 100% of Movinghome.com.au. The Acquisition of the balance of the movinghome shareholdering reflects our desire to fully capitalise on the outstanding technology offering that movinghome has developed. “No other company in Australia is able to offer the extensive range of integrated services that Toll Transitions is able to provide”, Paul Little said. “Toll has been aggressively pursuing opportunities to move into information and non-asset based business to improve operating margins while leveraging our knowledge of logistics.” Toll Transitions will command a significant share of the relocations market in Australia with an annual turnover exceeding $120M next year with offices in all Australian states and territories and employs over 100 people nationally.
